IE 8 Standards Compliant

Microsoft's Interoperability Principles and IE8

Microsoft recently published a set of Interoperability Principles. Thinking about IE8’s behavior with these principles in mind, interpreting web content in the most standards compliant way possible is a better thing to do. The IE Team think that acting in accordance with principles is important, and IE8’s default is a demonstration of the interoperability principles in action.

It would be nice if the IE Team showed-up at SXSW or even BarCamp Austin. Looks like someone from the IE Team called Jeffrey Zeldman to personally give him the good news. Read the Related links where the List Apart community weighs in.
