What If Intel

What if software were like this?

What if Intel started to share ideas and prototype software products as they were being developed? Intel is now offering advanced research items in the form of pre-production tools, add-ons, and prototypes online for you to try out. You're invited to test drive these tools, and then collaborate with your peers and offer feedback on one of the many forums.

Overclockers at Intel

Today at the Intel Developer Forum I attended a two hour session on overclocking extreme systems....five years ago nobody would have ever believed it.

Yea, there was a legalistic disclaimer - yer on yer own - and this is of course not officialy endorsed by Intel - if you fry your cpu they will gladly sell you a new one.

The new Extreme Memory Profiles - XMO - now enables you to easily overclock the memory and Super Talent Technology just announce their new Project X DDR3 memory, the first to support XMO.

The Extreme Edition Cor2Duo's are unlocked and a new line of motherboards will soon be available with software and a new bios interface that will make it so easy for anyone to get the thrill of the overclocker - but you will need to source your own liquid nitrogen....
