Building a More Intelligent Windows
Computer support professionals would argue that it's the Users who need more intelligence not the computers.
I have given long thought to the relationship between people and machines and I've noticed that some folks get on with their machines others do not.
If you treat your PC like a slave and try to beat it into submission it will fail on you. I see my PC as a trusted friend for whom I have great respect, but I'm the human and will find a way to have my say.
I don't like for my PC to get ahead of me, because inspiration and imagination are not his strong points. Everybody hates the way some programs jump-up at you just to let you know their there, I want to decide what programs run in process, RAM is a precious commodity and I want the maximum to be available for the tasks I'm about to preform and only I know what's coming next and sometimes I surprise myself.
