Yahoo! Announces Availability of New Yahoo! Mail Beta to Users Worldwide

Before there was Gmail, before Microsoft aquired Hotmail, we had Yahoo Mail and if your like me you still use it everyday.

Grab the beta here, it still has the same feel we've known for almost ten years.

The new Yahoo! Mail beta incorporates the technological expertise demonstrated by Oddpost, a company acquired by Yahoo! in July 2004 - So that's what happened to Oddpost, they used to link to my blog often.

Throughout the development process, we have relied on user feedback to further enhance and refine the Yahoo! Mail beta in our effort to provide the best Web mail experience possible. We've added new features, like an integrated calendar timeline, and at the same time we continue to offer what's most important: an easy-to-use, reliable, and secure free e-mail service - Ethan Diamond, director of product management for the new Yahoo! Mail
