Dynamics CRM Live

New software-as-a-service offering will further extend the power of choice for CRM customers and partners.

At Steve Ballmer's Keynote this morning he announced Microsoft Dynamics CRM Live, a hosted small client AJAX application that takes advantage of the dynamic aspects of the live web. We saw a cool mash-up of Dynamic CRM Live and Windows Live Local in a Real Estate vertical that looked amazing!

Expanded Opportunities for Partners

With Microsoft Dynamics CRM Live, new and existing partners will be able to easily develop and deploy pre-packaged solutions for their customers, just as they can in the on-premise and partner-hosted versions of Microsoft CRM today. Because the Microsoft CRM Live service will share the same meta-driven configuration tools that are used in all versions of Microsoft CRM, partners will be able to develop pre-packaged applications once and deploy them across any of the three deployment options. With Microsoft CRM, partners can work with each customer to choose the right deployment option at any time, with the ability to move across deployment options when and if required.
