TechEd Begins

TechEd is off to a great start, Ray Ozzie’s first Keynote since his arrival at Microsoft is well worth checking-out on the replay. 300 Kbps 100Kbps  56 Kbps

Ray talked about his career and all the technological disruptions he has witnessed. The services disruption is upon us and will change the way we live and work together, from everything I've seen I have to agree with everything Ray said.

This morning I attended two outstanding breakout sessions: Incorporating Agle Development into your Organization, with Peter Provost and Alan Ridlehoover.

It’s all about teamwork, getting everybody working together, communicating with each other and with the software you're developing. Great talk from two guys who are constantly learning and teaching by encouraging questions and discussion.

Simon Guest gave a passionate talk on Putting the User Back in SOA – Architecture is the balance between art and engineering. This talk was about Simon’s personal journey discovering the world of User Experience. Hopefully he'll soon have the slides and photos up on his blog.
