KatrinaSafe

JSawyer is a Microsoft Developer Evangelist based in Texas but he was scheduled to present two developer events in Baton Rouge and New Orleans Louisiana last week.

RESCHEDULED: Events in Baton Rouge and New Orleans

For those of you in Louisiana, in case you haven't heard (or haven't guessed), the events that I was planning on doing in New Orleans and Baton Rouge with Momentum (found here) have been rescheduled due to Hurricane Katrina.  Needless to say, it would have been quite impossible for me to get there.

The events will now take place on September 27th in Baton Rouge and September 28th in New Orleans.

For those of you in the path of this massive storm, my thoughts and prayers are with you.  Stay safe and I'll see you in a few weeks!

He has been very busy applying his skills with software to come up with a smart client application that will help the displaced people of South Louisiana locate their friends, neighbors and loved ones.

KatrinaSafe - We have our first matches!

I've attended several of JSawyrs events in Texas, he met his wife on the internet and I thank everyone at Microsoft who has supported his effort.

I've already linked to the site KatrinaSafe.com on my last three posts about New Orleans, please donate to the Red Cross if you haven't already. So much more needs to be done, with so many Americans having lost loved ones and everything they had in this world.
