SBC and the inept leaders at AT&T have “formally” begun the “Merger Approval Process” despite the fact that they haven’t as yet asked for shareholder approval.
"The combination of these two great companies is designed to create a stronger global competitor, with the resources to bring the benefits of advanced communications services and innovation to customers of all kinds including consumers, small and medium-sized businesses, and large and multinational corporations," said David W. Dorman, chairman and CEO of AT&T.
AT&T was the number ONE Telecommunications carrier on the Planet when Dorman succeeded Michael Armstrong as CEO of the worlds first telephone company. In the filing with the FCC there is no mention of Dorman's financial reward for failure, when the incentive should have been to grow AT&T’s network.
A Merger News website is up and running, no fear of another bidder spoiling this heist. AT&T is already offering Cingular wireless phones, SBC owns 60% of Cingular.
