The Tablet PC Partner site is a great resource for all things Tablet from software, a Developer Center, Power Toys, the odd blog and most importantly a How to Buy link to all the Tablet manufacturers and retailers.
I just did a Google for Tablet PC and look who has bought the top ad listing.
There is a Tablet PC News page, but it hasen't been updated in over a month. The best news for Tablet PC enthusiasts is that Windows Vista for the Tablet PC is going to be incredable, at least it had better be. I do know that many members of the Windows Vista Team are Tablet PC owners, so they have their own interest at heart. I can't wait to see the emergence of a 64bit Tablet PC and I learned from several AMD engineers that prototypes are being assembled, hopefully we'll see one by the time Windows Vista Launches next year.
Have you got a Tablet PC on your Christmas list? I've got my fingers crossed. Toshiba has the best screen resolution of all the Tablet manufactures, but I want a Slate and the Motion LE 1600 is the finest machine so far. I want to mount it in my car, to keep me company and help me find my way around. The Motion Slate is light weight and has a large screen so I can follow a map as I drive and the audio features will have me singing on the Highway.
