I dont know whats happening today with this site. I have a ton of spam in the comments and when i try to use the Admin panel my computer freezes and sometimes i get a weird error message saying "
FormatException
Input string was not in a correct format." What on earth is this? Has anyone else been having a tough time with DNJ blogs or is it just me? Im seriously considering a move to some other blog site now.,
Woo hoo!! I did it !! Now I'm an MCP!! (not misogynist kind!!) I always knew i was certifiable and now its been confirmed (tee hee)!!
So, this is the story. I cleared 70-320 last week with 856. Pretty good eh? Yeah, so i didnt score 900 or more like some of the gurus here, but i'm pretty chuffed anyway. I used the Amit Kalani book (review to follow soon) and found it totally awesome. Basically i do a lot of work around web services but not much around remoting and enterprise services (thats just the niche i work in folks!! more about niches and broad knowledge later) and so the book was a total eye opener to some of the things that are possible. (Of course, they werent totally IUnknown to me !!) having attended TechEd and DevWeek in the past, but the depths and the hands on experience (at least in terms of practice exercises) were cool.
I'm now seriously considering more exams and working toward the full MCSD (before the new versions of the exams dealing with .NET 2.0 are released!!)
I just got back from hols today and need to put my feet up and rest (:-)). More later on the topics mentioned here and other stuff about DNN and all that.
