I hate creating a test app or a coding sandbox and then having that show up in my recent projects list for the forseeable future. Well, if you want to eliminate those pesky entries, just use regedit and go to the following entry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\8.0\ProjectMRUList
